Student representative council

The Student Representative Council (SRC) consists of students who nominate themselves to join a team of hardworking and proactive future leaders. Twenty-two students from all year groups are elected to represent the student body at Cronulla High.

Together as a unit, members of the SRC work together to be the voice of the students within the school. As well as this, their role is to organise, lead and fund any charity or school events throughout the year.

The SRC communicates with the student body, teachers and community, and proactively works as a team to achieve common goals. They also encourage student involvement in school events and activities, help to fundraise for charitable causes, and plan initiatives that may lead to the improvement of the school.

Ultimately, being a part of the SRC works towards developing leadership skills, ensuring student views are heard in decision-making processes, empowering students to contribute to a positive school culture and strengthening the school community through active participation.

Members of the SRC are reviewed annually, with applications being accepted from late Term 3 to provide new students the opportunity to join the team.
