Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Parents and Citizens Meetings are held in the school library at 7 pm, the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

The Parents and Citizens of our school are an active group who participate in the support of the school as a whole. We support all students by contributing funds to much needed equipment, books, extra chairs, etc and we support individual students through the Merit Awards Scheme, where any student who achieves a Gold award receives a $150 EFTPOS card from the Parents and Citizens and by assisting students who achieve outstanding results in their specific area of interest such as sport, music, dance or drama. The great strength at Cronulla High is the support and encouragement it gives each individual student, where being the best you can be is celebrated.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, during term time, at 7 pm. The format is informal, where all views are listened to with respect. It is our aim to conclude the meeting by 8.30 pm. and any extension needs to be agreed by the meeting to finish a specific topic.

The primary aim of the Parents and Citizens is to support the students and teachers of Cronulla High physically, with extra funds and emotionally, with council and ideas to make our school the best it can be.
