Year 6 into Year 7 2027

Interviews for non-local and non-government Year 6 applicants will be available during Term 1, 2026. Please note that waiting lists apply.

For Out of Area applicants, all applications will be reviewed by the Enrolment Panel in early Term 2. Recommendations will then be submitted to the Director of Educational Leadership for final approval.

Enrolment offers for Out of Area students are expected to be issued in June 2026, following the Director’s decision.

Placement offers for the Extension Class will also be made at this time.

Enrolment Process for Students Currently Attending a NSW Government Primary School (In-Area and Out-of-Area)

Step 1

NSW Government Primary School In-Area applicants

Complete the Online Expression of Interest (EOI)

This will be provided by your primary school in Term 1, 2026.

NSW Government Primary School Out-of-Area Applicants

Complete the Online Expression of Interest (EOI)

This will be provided by your primary school in Term 1, 2026.

Important for Out-of-Area Applicants:

If you live outside the Cronulla High School catchment, you must also:

  1. Complete the Application for Year 7 Placement – Out of Area & Independent/Non-Government Schools
  2. attached any relevant documents you believe will support their application.
  3. Non-local applicants require a letter which addresses the “Criteria for Non-Local Applicants”This letter should include as much information as possible as the Enrolment Panel will use this to process applications. Supporting evidence must be provided where applicable, such as medical evidence.
  4. Attend an interview with the Principal (we will contact you once your application is received to schedule this)

Step 2

If you have received an offer from our school for placement into Year 7 next year, the next step is to visit apply online to proceed with the offer and complete the enrolment application. If you did not submit an expression of interest, visit apply online to start a new application to our school.

Enrolment Process for Students Currently Attending a Non-Government Primary School (In-Area and Out-of-Area)

Please ensure that you complete all steps outlined below
  1. Complete the DoE online enrolment application via Enrol online

  2. Complete the Application for Year 7 Placement – Out of Area & Independent/Non-Government Schools

  3. attached any relevant documents you believe will support their application.

  4. Non-local applicants require a letter which addresses the “Criteria for Non-Local Applicants”

    This letter should include as much information as possible as the Enrolment Panel will use this to process applications. Supporting evidence must be provided where applicable, such as medical evidence.

  5. Attend an interview with the Principal (we will contact you once your application is received to schedule this)
